Plasma Skin Lift

Result Driven Skin Rejuvenation

Facts and Questions

The Plamere™ plasma device  is a relatively new device, so you will naturally have a lot of questions. We recommend contacting us to discuss this procedure and schedule a consultation, as that will allow one of our providers to discuss details specific to your skin needs and goals. In the meantime, read through these frequently asked questions and answers below.

What to Expect From a Plasma Skin Lift Treatment

Consultation: During your initial consultation, your skin will be evaluated and we will discuss  your rejuvenation goals and expectations. We will take a full medical history to ensure you’re a good candidate for the Plasma Skin Lift treatment. If we determine that Plasma Skin Lift  is a good solution for your needs, we will proceed with treatment; if not, we will discuss other options for facial rejuvenation and anti-aging.

Procedure: Treatment begins with the application of a topical numbing cream. Your procedure time will vary depending on the size of your treatment area, with treatment times ranging from 30-120 minutes. Once we have finished The Plamere™ plasma device  procedure, we will apply a topical aftercare cream to the treatment area to aide in healing.

Expected Results and Follow-up: Results are virtually immediate. For a few days following your treatment, you will experience light swelling and crusts will form on the area treated.  The Plamere™ plasma device  triggers skin cell turnover which reveals fresh, youthful skin.

For the next several weeks and even months, collagen production gradually increases. This improves youthful plumpness, giving your skin the support structure it needs to lift and tighten.

Patients can expect to see full results after six months of natural collagen building following a single Plasma Skin Lift treatment.

Is the The Plamere™ plasma device  safe?

This device delivers results without surgery or injectables. It requires no sutures, scalpels, or injectable anesthetic. It is also non-ablative and chemical-free. The Plamere™ plasma device  is the only officially FDA approved Plasma device on the market. Plasma Skin Lift, aka the Fibroblast Procedure is considered a low-risk procedure with a rapid recovery and minimal side-effects.  As this is a non-surgical procedure it makes it very safe. As with any procedure there are possible side-effects including, but not limited to, inflammation, scarring, minor pigmentation changes. It is very important to follow before and after care instructions in order to avoid side effects and to aid in proper healing.

What areas can be treated?

The Plamere™ plasma device  is typically used on the face and neck, primarily around the eyes.  We have had success with non-surgical UPPER and LOWER EYE LIFTS, JOWL LIFT, NECK RING REDUCTION, LIP LINES, TUMMY TIGHTENING, STRETCH MARKS, SCAR REDUCTION and so much more.  However, it can be used on the hands and even the elbows! If you have skin that is loose, wrinkled, or sagging, Plasma Skin Lift may be the solution for you. If not, we have numerous options to help provide you with the youthful look you desire.

Does The Plamere™ plasma device  treatment hurt?

Patients reported little-to-no discomfort during treatment. A topical numbing cream is recommended before treatment to ensure your comfort during the procedure. Following the treatment, your skin may continue to feel slightly numb. This is normal. Skin sensitivity is normal for about three days following treatment.

Is there any downtime? What should I expect following my treatment?

You will be able to return to your normal routine immediately. For two to three days, you may experience some skin sensitivity, mild redness, skin crusting, and flaking. Recovery is very fast and results begin to emerge almost immediately. Fresh skin will appear underneath the treatment area as the unhealthy skin cells fall away. And for the next several weeks and months, your skin will become tighter and more youthful.

How many treatments will I need?

Depending on your skin and the desired result; many clients are satisfied after one treatment.  Some clients decide to follow up with 1-2 more sessions to intensify or perfect their ultimate results.  Additional Plasma Skin Lift procedures can be repeated after a full 8 weeks of healing time - this allows for the fibroblasts to heal under the skin so you see the final results. If your personal goals require more than one treatment on the same area, the cost is 50% of original treatment for that area.

Hyperpigmentation is an over-production of melanin which has permanently damaged the surface of the skin. It is more commonly seen in Afro-Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian and Latin skin types. It presents as darker patches of skin. Unfortunately, Fibroblast Treatments are generally not appropriate for anyone with hyperpigmentation or having skin types 4-6 on the Fitzpatrick scale.

Hyperpigmentation Concerns

The deeper your skin tone the higher your risk for hypo (lack of) or hyper (excess of) pigmentation. IF YOU THINK THIS MAY BE YOU BUT you are still interested in this procedure; please send a photo of the area you would like to have treated via email or text.  If we agree that we can do fibroblast on your skin and achieve desired result with little or no risk we can schedule a complimentary patch test prior to your appointment This free patch test is offered to any of our clients but it is very important for anyone who naturally keloids (thick raised scars, you usually already know who you are) or if you hyperpigment from wounds.  My goal is to give you the best result.

It's like lightening!

The Plamere™ plasma device supplies energy between a metallic tip and the skin, where plasma (ionised air) carbonizes the surface of skin and turns the skin’s material into gas (sublimation). This process is similar to when lightening occurs between ionised air and the earth.  This is the process that creates the crust or tiny dots on the skin. The device and/or metal tip never come into contact with the skin instead the results of a genuine plasma output not an electrical current. This plasma arc permits the precision and results of ‘soft surgery’ such as skin tag renewal as well as effective non-surgical blepharoplasty and a range of other treatments.
